Kitab Asy-syifa bi Tahqiqi Thuruqil Mushthofa (by Qodli Iyadl)

The Prophets Muhammad is the name that indeed a has been too much written, so it is very difficult for a work that is written about him became a best seller, because too many competitors, and almost all writing about him is available in many languages, but I'm so apreciated for this translation titled ASH-SHIFA Healing through defining the rights of prophets Muhammad to become one of reference material for those who want to know about rasulullah's life, with the aim to introducing the prophets Muhammad using a version of ASH-SHIFA approach which it's may rarely found in other writings.

Originally is Ash-shifa bi Ta'rif Huquq al-Mustafa, (Healing by the Recognition of the Rights of or News of the Chosen One), written by Abu al-Fadl Iyadh ibn Amr ibn Musa ibn Iyadh ibn Muhammad ibn Abdillah ibn Musa ibn Iyadh al-Yahsubi al-Sabti (1083-1149), known as Qodhi Iyadh, the Greater Imam belonging to the Almoravid Empire, later he was a high judge (qadi) in Granada, one of his most famous pupil is Averroes.
Ash shifa is one of the most frequently used and commented handbook upon in which Muhammad's life, and more about his qualities and his miracles are described in every detail. and in fact, Al-Shifa remains one of the most commentated books of Islam after the Sahih's of al-Bukhari and Muslim. Generally known by its short title, Ash-Shifa, this work was so highly admired throughout the Muslim world that it soon acquired a sanctity of its own for it is any quoted like as mentioned in the book of Nashim Ar-riyadh

1. It was narrated that Ibn Muqri al-yamani, when he was stricken by the deseas, Allah healed him by waseela (intercession) of reading the book of ash-shifa..
2. If Ash-Shifa is found in a house, this house will not suffer any harm.
3. The boat will not sink, if there books of Asy-Syifa inside
4. People who are ill, can be cured with the blessing of the book of al-syifa

Asy-Syifa consists at four of parts.

Part 1 : The majesty which given by Allah to the Prophet (PbuH)
Part 2 : Human obligation toward his rights
Part 3 : what's are impossible and what's should be present inside him
Part 4 : the law for people who harass and berate him

Dr.Abdus salam Al-Bakkari (lecturer Dirasat al-Islamiyya al-Markaz al-Watani), in his tahqiq on Ash-Shifa, printed by Darul Fikr publishing, beirut, 2005/1426, He says that Ash shifa is based on :

- Alqur'anul karim
- Tafsir2 Quran
- The six major books of hadith
- books of war
- books of history
- books of islamic law (fiqh)
- books of islamic's scholars quote
- books of lughah (linguistic)
- Opinion of islamic scholar who are experts in the science of kalam such as al-Ash'ari, albaqillani, aljuwayni, alghazaly. etc.

This book is not easy reading for those readers who do not understand Arabic, especially for those who lack an understanding of Islam, therefore, most of my friends also adviced me  to read the writings of other authors to comment on this book as grip, comparison, or any information that providing writing-related , some works that Comment with a partial explanation written on al-Shifa' , which are such as :

- Nasim al-Riyad fi sharh Shifa' li-Qadi `Iyad (by Shihab al-Din Muhammad ibn `Umar al-Khafaji),
- Majlis fi khatmi Kitab al-Shifa' bi ta`rif huquq al-Mustafa' (by Shams al-Din -Muhammad ibn `Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Qaysi al-Dimashqi),
- Al-Intihad fi khatmi al-Shifa' li-`Iyad (by Shams al-Din Muhammad ibn `Abd al-Rahman al-Sakhawi),
- Sharh al-Shifa' li-al-Qadi `Iyad (by al-Mulla `Ali al-Qari al-Harawi al-Hanafi),
- Manahil as-safa fi takhrij Ahadith al-Shifa' (by al-Imam Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti),
- Ma`arif al-Shifa' bi-Ta`rif Huquq al-Mustafa' and al-`Ata fi Ma`rifa al-Mustafa (by al-Shaykh Dr Muhammad Tahir ibn Farid al-Din al-Qadri),

- Al-Muqtafa fi hal alfaz al-Shifa' (by al-`Allama Burhan al-Din Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Khalil al-Halabi Sibt ibn al-`Ajami).

Therefore, the presence of this book with the translation version is expected to be a makes it easy for readers who want to read any of the works of a great islamic scholar of all time, especially ASH-SHIFA Healing through defining the rights of prophets Muhammad which is one of the posts that may can be a reference to explain about the life of prophet muhammad with every detail in every part, although there may still be some flaws in the translation.
